The Good Girl by Emma Nichols

**Please note: this book is rated MA for Adult Situations and the occasional curse word

When Willow Stone discovers that she is in competition with the exotic and worldly Molina for the coveted position of sex advice columnist, she realizes it's time to up her game. Though she has impeccable writing skills, there's no denying that a lifetime of being the good girl has left her ill prepared for this position. Realizing it's her lack of experience that will keep her from achieving this dream, she decides to proposition the bad boy who once lived in her college dorm that always had a stream of women doing the walk of shame from his room on a nearly nightly basis. Surely someone that shallow, that experienced, and that wildly attractive could teach her a thing or twenty.

Only Wyatt has his own plans, and they don't allow much time for teaching Willow what she would already know if she could just break free of the cool, calculating, proper demeanor that was part of being a Stone. His reputation has served him well through the years and being the black sheep of his family has never bothered him. What does bother him, however, is Willow. She is a mystery to unravel, a present to be cherished, a young woman who just might rock his world by bringing him back into his family's fold. She was everything they wanted for him and precisely what he had avoided since he started dating.

What will happen when the good girl gets mixed up with the bad boy?

Willow Stone is such a cute lil good girl but every good girl has a oh so bad side. As a female we all know to watch out for the "good" and "quiet" ones, sometimes their the craziest whenever they let loose. Trying to get rid of her good girl image for the perfect start up to her career Willow decide's to go to the bad/dark side with college dorm-mate Wyatt.

Great cute story, i love how Willow battles the image she's always had vs the thoughts going thru her head. Fun loving story that takes a different route into the romance world. Believable characters and great development of each character throughout the book. Wyatts a kind heart wrapped in a bad boy image, i love their chemistry and dynamic. Beginning was not to slow and not to fast but a great speed throughout the whole book. I love the list and how realistic Willow's number compares to it.
Great book and i would more than likely re-read. So i recommend The Good Girl.

What made her decide to be an erotica author?

Simple.

How else was she going to parlay her two favorite past times into a career?

Emma is single and loving it. Like her first character, Alysin, Sin for short, she doesn't believe in settling or in settling down. She loves to indulge in her passions whenever the mood strikes and enjoys keeping all of life's cliche moments spicy.

Known for her sense of humor, Emma surrounds herself with friends whose antics often become the source of book fodder. Her ideal situation would be to explore the Caribbean while writing. She pursues that dream daily.

Something More by @jenna_tyler13

Rebecca Michaels has finally grown tired of her monotonous life and is ready to make a drastic change. Now that her daughter, Charlie, is away at college, there has never been a more perfect time to make it happen.

Packing up and leaving behind all she's ever known, she eagerly ventures out in search of what the world, outside of this dull town, has in store for her.

When she first encounters Andrew Chambers, a mysteriously sexy and seemingly wealthy stranger, she doesn't think she will ever stand a chance with someone like him. Little does she know just how wrong she is or how fierce an attraction the two of them would immediately share. Although, lavish attention and on-demand orgasms are not something she's going to complain about, the speed and intensity with which Andrew pursues her is almost more than she can handle.

Rebecca Michaels wanted an adventure, but the one that awaits her isn't necessarily what she had in mind.

Jenna Tyler was born and raised in South/Central Florida. Currently residing in Texas, she loves spending time with her fur-baby, Roxy…and sometimes her kids (when they behave).  She enjoyed writing poems as a teenager, but didn’t become an avid reader until…Twilight. She became obsessed and her passion for reading led to stories and characters nagging at her. Then a friend suggested she write it out and now is releasing her debut novel.

All I wanted from him was the truth. I was given everything but. ~Victoria
All I wanted was to know where we stood. But, Victoria is an expert at evasiveness. ~Blaze

Have you read in the papers lately about all of those politicians being caught with high class hookers? I’ve slept with most of those men. You can also believe that if I was still in the business, they would have never been caught with me. No matter what you do in life, professionalism is key.
Working as a high class hooker, then a bartender at the best strip club in NYC, I had been making good money for years.
That was until the night I got the call…
The call that flipped my life upside down…
My best friend and her husband died in a car accident, leaving me the caretaker of their eight-year-old daughter. My life needed to change fast. I managed to secure a position at Townsend Realty Company. My attraction to Mr. Townsend, one of the wealthiest men in America and step-brother to the infamous Hurley family, was instantaneous and overwhelming. But, after five years of nothing but professionalism, I’m convinced he wants nothing to do with me romantically.
I have worked for this man for five years, managing every facet of his life. I’ve been in love with him for five years. When money tightens, I find myself in a tight spot. Then Mr. Townsend makes me an offer that I can’t refuse. Be with him and only him for two grand a week in cash. It’s an offer I can’t and don’t want to refuse.
But what happens when the money is no longer enough? What happens when I want the man as more than a client? What line won’t you cross?
Even ex-hookers draw the line somewhere.

Whoa, as a huge fan of reading when looking to purchase a book the pros and cons for me include price and pages. If you just read the "back of the book" you will be doing yourself a disservice. Office Perks is one of those books you can not judge by its cover or the brief experts posted. Office Perks is a book you need to open to page one and jump in. The storyline at first seemed generic yet as you divulge into the novel it opens you up to the complicated and emotional like of Victoria. A street smart women who from a young age learns what assets to use that can get her ahead. Victoria takes not only her childhood but adult experience to help raise Kendell, changing both their lives.
Five years as the personal assistant to Mr. Townsend, situations change.
I love Victoria, Sunshine, Dre and Blaze, their characters are well written and diverse giving you such complex yet simple views into each of their worlds and mindset.
Office Perks flows well and every word seems to have a purpose within the story. There are some hot scenes, some heartbreaking ones and ones that make you shout for joy.
As a reader and now a fan you get your moneys work with Office Perks and i will recommend to anyone.

I live in NJ with my husband, daughter, dog, and beta fish. I love going out with my daughter on the weekends, drink a pot of coffee a day, and hate wearing make-up. I love finding new book boyfriends, and I love writing down the stories that pop into my head. But, most of all...I love hearing from you!

Taken with You by @shannonstacey

Taken with You by Shannon Stacey
(Kowalski Family #8)
Published by: Carina Press
Publication date: March 25th 2014
Genres: Adult, Contemporary, Romance

Synopsis:
Hailey Genest has seen most of her friends marry and have babies, and she’s happy for them, but it was a lot easier before she hit forty. She’s spent her entire life in Whitford, Maine, and if she hasn’t found her Prince Charming by now, she has to accept she’s probably not going to. When a new friend suggests they go on an adventure and embrace being single, Hailey agrees.

Surviving in the woods is game warden Matt Barnett’s idea of a relaxing vacation. But when he meets two women in need of help, he leads them back to safety – a task that proves more fun than expected, thanks to a certain hot blonde. He can’t resist pushing her buttons, even though she’s made it clear that the rugged, outdoorsy type just isn’t for her.

Hailey is glad to see the back of her tempting-tour-guide-slash-pain-in-the-ass. When he shows up in her life again, she’s determined to avoid him, no matter how good he looks in his uniform. But that’s easier said than done in Whitford, especially when he’s renting the house right next door…

Taken with You by Shannon Stacey follows the Kowalski series with Hailey and Matt. Not only have i been a fan of the series but i always love to see how authors of long series are able to continue to connect past characters and still bring something new. I love Hailey, i love how she banters with Mike and on her own a strong character.
You feel their chemistry immediately and only can hold on as the story unfolds. Both Mike and Hailey feel like they have reasons to stay away from each other, just a question on whats going to win brains or hearts.
